A free monthly women’s book club
A gentle space to slow down, connect, and share with other women by the ocean. You’re welcome to bring a book you love or are currently reading, with no pressure to share.
Held at Shelly Beach, Caloundra, on the last Sunday of each month from 3:00 – 4:30pm.
Bring a book, something to sit on, and whatever helps you feel comfortable.
This is a relaxed and welcoming space to be in community, across different ages and stages of life.
All welcome - Just come as you are
You’re welcome to simply turn up, no booking or commitment needed.
Sessions are offered online or in-home in and around the Sunshine Coast (following an initial online consultation)
Calm space consultations are a nervous system and sensory-informed support that helps you gently reshape your environment so it feels more regulating, supportive, and aligned with how you want to live.
Creating environments that support you to feel calm, grounded, and more at ease within yourself.
Our external environment both shapes and reflects our internal state. Lighting, texture, colour, sound, and the way a space is arranged all influence the nervous system. When environments feel cluttered, unpredictable, or overstimulating, the body can remain on alert. When they feel calm, consistent, and supportive, the nervous system has more opportunity to settle.
Often, we try to feel calm internally while living in spaces that quietly signal urgency, noise, or demand.
This is for women who sense their space no longer supports how they want to feel, and are curious about what their body is asking for instead.
It can be especially supportive during periods of burnout, illness, grief, or transition, and for those who feel sensitive to clutter, visual noise, or overstimulation.
This is not about creating a perfect home, but about shaping spaces that feel more forgiving, grounding, and supportive within everyday life.
This is a practical and intuitive process that supports you in slowing down and noticing how your body responds to your space.
Together, we explore what feels settling and what feels draining, and make simple, realistic changes using what you already have, alongside thoughtfully chosen additions where needed.
The focus is not on how your space looks, but on how it feels to be in.
This work is informed by my experience working alongside Occupational Therapists in sensory-informed approaches, and co-authoring research exploring sensory experiences and regulation in young people.

Young Women aged 14-18 years Expression and Drama Group
This space is for young women who have often been told they are “too much”, “too sensitive” or “too dramatic”, and for those who experience the world more intensely or differently, including neurodivergent young women who may spend a lot of time masking to be accepted.
A place where you can feel safe to be you, unmasked
An early intervention support space to explore emotional expression, identity, and confidence through creative drama, storytelling, and movement in a way that feels engaging, fun, and accessible. Drawing on my background in acting and directing, this space invites creativity, play, and authentic expression in a way that feels safe and real.
Groups will be offered based on interest.
I offer speaking at women’s gatherings, community events, and organisational settings.
These conversations draw on over 15 years of experience across public mental health and addiction services, exploring trauma-informed practice, psychological safety, burnout, and the impact environments have on wellbeing.
Rather than delivering corporate presentations, this work opens reflective conversations about how we create cultures of safety, care, and sustainable leadership.
I also work with organisations in a consultative way, supporting leaders to reflect on how systems, structures, and environments shape behaviour, and how meaningful cultural change can begin.
